good to know
Do I need experience?
No prior Pilates experience is required to get started. However, we strongly recommend completing at least six reformer level 1 classes before registering for reformer level 2, as these classes move at a quicker pace and are intended for clients with an established foundation. Modifications may be offered at the instructor’s discretion.
What should I wear?
We recommend comfortable, form-fitting attire that allows for ease of movement. Grip socks are required for all reformer classes. For mat and barre, socks are required, although we do recommend wearing grip socks to support stability and control. Grip socks are available for purchase at the studio.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
Everything you need for class is provided, including all equipment and mats. You’re welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer, but it’s not necessary. Water is available for purchase, if needed.
Can I arrive late?
Please arrive a few minutes early, as classes begin promptly. Clients arriving more than 5 minutes late may not be admitted, as late entry can disrupt the class and compromise safety.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancel at least 12 hours before class to avoid forfeiting your class credit. Late cancellations will result in forfeiture of the class credit. No-shows (including failure to cancel) will result in forfeiture of the class credit and a $20.00 fee (plus applicable taxes and fees).
Is shypilates exclusively for women?
Yes! Our studio is designed exclusively for women, creating a safe and supportive environment.
Are classes safe with injuries or health concerns?
Consult your healthcare provider if needed and let your instructor know about any limitations before class begins.
How do I book a class?
Book and manage classes through our online booking platform.
What are your class sizes?
Reformer and mat Pilates classes are capped at 8 clients, and barre classes are capped at 4 clients. We keep our class sizes intentionally small so you can receive individual attention, clear guidance, and a high-quality class experience.
What about hygiene and safety?
Equipment and props are cleaned and disinfected regularly. Please respect the space and follow studio etiquette.
Is there parking onsite?
Yes, free parking is available in the plaza.
